Dr. Fred Taweel established the Reston office of Internal Medicine Associates in 1994. At that time there was also a Fairfax and Centerville location. Over time, these satellite offices were either closed or separated from the Reston office. Internal Medicine Associates of Reston is now an independent practice.

Our physicians and staff have always been on the forefront of medical technology and our office was converted to a paperless electronic medical record system in 2004. This enables the physicians to have immediate access to records, email prescriptions to pharmacies, and contact patients via our secure website.
